MBBS from Pt JNM medical college, Raipur (CG) in the year of 1997.

MS in ophthalmology from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak (Haryana).

Fellowship in Oculoplasty and Orbit from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.

Awarded merit certificate for distinction in the subject of otorhinolaryngology by Pt Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur.

Recipient of merit scholarships for two consecutive years during MBBS.

Has presented several papers in international, national and zonal conferences.

Recipient of ‘Dr V.S.Gupta memorial award for best paper’ from Jharkhand ophthalmological society.

Recipient of ‘Dr Manjul Pant award for best video’ two times in a row from Jharkhand opthalmological society

Has more than 25 articles and chapters published in various ophthalmic journals and books.

Is a reviewer for British journal of Ophthalmology.

Member of the All India Ophthalmological Society, Oculoplasty Association of India, Delhi Ophthalmological Society, Redcross society of India, Indian medical association and Jharkhand ophthalmological society.

Currently editor of Jharkhand journal of Ophthalmology.

His areas of interest are laser lacrimal surgery and eyelid reconstructions.
